There are various ways to run SDRnuke - the versions available from dsl078/SDRnuke are the stable current releases for newer operating systems or can be compiled from source. To get started, we suggest you follow the installation steps found in the tutorial _Intro to SDRnuke.html. We expect to create a new pull request on the github page for SDRnuke soon - we did port RTL2832U to Openmoko Neo FreeRunner and would like to port it to the Raspberry Pi.
Copy the avrdude.conf file from the WinAVR directory you just created to the working directory, and rename it to avrdude.conf You should then have a working avrdude, without requiring username and password details. There are also some additional debug options available including the ability to print a number of messages. rpi_send_debug.dox is an example.
Depending on your processor and compiler options, you may have to compile the attached sketch directly into the avrdude.conf file instead of using the makefile. If this is the case, you will still need to copy the.elf file to the verilog directory and adjust the wiring to point to both the program and the board's ATmega3. You may need to make any necessary changes to the avrdude.conf file as the wiring is somewhat different. See the working avrdude configuration file for guidance.
