Veronica Dunne is best known for her work with Brian Jones, being the drummer in his country and western band 'The Brian Setzer Orchestra'. She famously played drums in the original Brian Setzer Orchestra band that led to her recording her debut solo album 'Roadhouse Woman' in 2003. Veronica has also performed with artists such as Don Felder, Patty Griffin, Emmylou Harris, Elvis Costello, Dolly Parton, Bonnie Raitt, Tracy Byrd, Johnny Winter, J. Geils, Don Henley, and Mark Knopfler.
The Jay Quartet's 1962 debut album was produced by Bob Johnston who also recorded Bob Dylan's album Blonde on Blonde with the group as a backing band and so was his own first album, which he produced. Jay and the Americans would go on to release two more albums: At the Point and Jay & The Americans, each with slightly different lineups, and a few singles, but had no more success than the previous Laurel Canyon group. Johnson later produced and played on the album Jay & The Americans by his son, Jimmy, featuring Gary Wright. That was followed by Highway to Yesterday in 1979. Johnson has also been a session player including playing on albums by other artists by including David Ackles, Dion, Ricky Nelson, Bette Midler, Harry Nilsson, and Bob Dylan.
A recording produced by Prince of the United States entitled Purple Rain was released by Prince & The Revolution on April 24, 1984. The album was a success, selling five million copies before it was released in Europe and Asia. Prince and the Revolution began their European tour in April 1984 in Paris, they then played 23 concerts in the continent, performing in 27 cities (some of them multiple times) throughout the year. The European leg of the tour ended on July 7, 1984 in Rotterdam. The last five shows were performed using the new stage costumes by the creative team of Prince, who had been inspired by the costumes of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.[137] d2c66b5586
