Drumline 2: A New Beat is a 2014 American television film directed by Bille Woodruff. It is a sequel to the 2002 film Drumline. The film premiered on VH1 on October 27, 2014. The film stars Alexandra Shipp, Leonard Roberts, Jordan Calloway, and Nick Cannon, who also served as executive producer.

The film follows Danielle "Dani" Raymond (Shipp), an ambitious drummer who gets a scholarship to attend Atlanta A&T University, a fictional historically black college that takes pride in its marching band. Dani hopes to become the first female section leader of the drumline, but faces opposition from her peers and her upperclassman rival Jayven (Calloway). She also struggles to balance her academics, her relationship with her single mother (LeToya Luckett), and her budding romance with fellow drummer Tyree (Jeff Pierre). Meanwhile, Sean Taylor (Roberts), a former A&T drumline captain who is now a successful music producer, returns to his alma mater as a band consultant. He clashes with Dr. Nia Phillips (Tasha Smith), the strict band director who also happens to be his ex-girlfriend. Sean also tries to mentor Dani and help her achieve her dreams.
